coming to terms with loss

I had recently lost my grandpa when we did this shoot, just as we began the transition into fall and the loss of summer. Life is full of loss. We can learn from nature in times of grievance through observation. In autumn, the trees teach us how to let go. Release your tenderness to the earth and allow it to be composted. Something beautiful will rise again, just give it time.
