ABOUT ME

Kira Casey is a multidisciplinary artist and herbalist from Anchorage, Alaska. Growing up between the mountains and the ocean bonded her to the sanctity of the natural world. In 2021, she began her path towards herbal medicine at the School of the Sacred Wild. Kira believes that the human-plant connection is a true partnership that can be tended to in the form of plant medicine, working with clay, cooking, and spending time immersed in the wild. To capture her experiences, Kira can often be found with her camera, a brush, a pen, or a small pair of snips.
